So What Else operates a walk-up Food Pantry in the Lakeforest Mall parking lot (adjacent to the Ruby Tuesday restaurant) from Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We are opening our Food Pantry on Sundays and we need volunteers to help! The Pantry is located next to a large shipping container outdoors. We operate in all but the most inclement weather.

Scope of work: Volunteers at the Food Pantry assist with site set up and breakdown, loading and unloading pallets of food, breaking down large pallets of produce into parcels ready for pick up by clients in person or for delivery to distribution sites. Volunteers will help with the bagging of produce and other foodstuffs, assist clients with selecting items and working with our staff on designated tasks, and keeping the work area and service area safe and tidy.
